Blog #8: Perception
What's good y'all. I'm listening to Steve Lacy right now and he got me thinking. I was listing to "Thats no fun" and I noticed that everyone you come across will have a different opinion and interpretation of you.
When you are thought about a different image will come up for every person. Yes there will be some commonalities but there are also going to be quite a lot of differences. As people tend to change their personality from who they are around or where they are at mentally. Subconsciously you act different depending on who you're around and most of the time you won't notice it. Even in the case that you act the same around everyone people are still going to have different opinions and thoughts of you when you come up. This is influenced by their perception of you and their interpretation of your words and actions. Value is in the eye of the beholder and this can be applied here.
Yep it is hard to get a strait unfiltered person. You also already have judged a person before you even met them. It makes it hard to know people
ReplyDeleteThis is definitely true. People do have the tendency to judge people just by the first glance without even knowing them. I think that is something our society needs to change because it is not fair for the person who they may be judging!
ReplyDeleteyou know what they say never judge a book by its cover. People will always look at you differently in some way or form. im with you on that honeslty. And Steve lacy is a fire artist.
